Build your own style (II)
I have already dealt with building your own style as far as graphics and layout is concerned. Now, let’s deal a bit with content.
First of all, forget that having a blog means copycatting news from newspapers, media and other blog sources. These would in fact lead you in serious legal troubles and, moreover, would let your visitors disappear in less than a tick of an eye. People likes originality, good writing and creativiness: missing these qualities will make your readers fly away.
I’ve already discussed about keeping updated with Google News and with what the other bloggers do: try always to be the first to write upon a given topic and trackbacks will give you more and more visibility.
In other words, always try to be original when writing content: use your own style, your own expression, use correct punctuation and spelling, avoid grammar mistakes. Be patient and all else will follow, ‘cause Rome wasn’t built in a day.
